WEEE WASTE DISPOSAL

From computers to mobile phones, the UK throws away two million tonnes of electrical items every year, at a huge cost to the environment and most of the waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) discarded by households and businesses each year ends up in landfill, it is something the Government sought to reduce with the 2007 WEEE Directive which encourages consumers and companies to reuse, recycle and recover electrical items.

We offer a simple and safe solution for collecting, recycling and treatment of your WEEE, making sure your legislative and duty of care requirements are met in a responsible and efficient manner.

The items are taken to an Approved Authorised Treatment Facility (AATF) for disposal. This will ensure that recycling and final disposal of your items will be done in accordance with the standards set in the WEEE Regulations. All items assessed recycled and re-used wherever possible.

Advances in technology mean the UK faces an ever growing tide of excess, obsolete or end-of-life commercial and consumer electrical and electronic equipment.

Our services include: Collection & processing of all business WEEE, processing of Municipal WEEE, data wiping of computers and refurbishment of suitable WEEE.

Over 6 million electrical items are thrown every year

78% are in fully working use

END OF LIFE PRODUCT DISPOSAL

We off an environmentally friendly way to dispose of products that cannot be sold due to end of life or too much stock.

As an environmentally conscious company we guarantee end of life processing of products, recycling all metals and plastics, focusing on sustainable methods of disposal to ensure that products do not end up back in circulation within the marketplace.

Whenever we can, we’ll break products down into separate materials that can be recycled or disposed of safely and responsibly. We have a zero waste to landfill policy and recycle all materials accordingly.

We take our environmental responsibilities very seriously, and carry out all product destruction in accordance with UK and international guidelines.

Whenever possible, we break products down into separate materials that can be recycled rather than sending waste to landfill
